A Post on IKEA Ice Cream :D

So, tell me, what is better than IKEA ice cream?

Okay, maybe it's frozen yogurt, but what the heck, it's looks like ice cream, and it tastes like ice cream, so for today, let's say that it's ice cream. Alright?

I went to the infamous IKEA store today, and headed through the entrance at the little restaurant food place. Not the fancy diner with all the salmon and stuff, but the fast food place with hot dogs and cinnamon buns, I'm quite sure that you know what I'm talking about.

Immediately, I noticed that the place was full of people with ice cream cones in their hands. Like, 60% of the people around me were indulging in these heavenly cones with soft, swirly ice cream on top. And that was the moment when I knew that instead of hunting for a new shelf, that I was going to postpone my mission for another 15 minutes, and that I'd first go on the entirely new mission to get myself one of those amazing ice cream cones everyone was eating. Gah, I just can't stand there and watch people eat ice cream, it makes me jelly. I want one, so badly.

Then I waited in line to get an ice cream cone. I drooled at the sign that had read "frozen yogurt" above the cashiers. There was this ginormous photo of a perfect ice cream cone.

There were also hotdogs and other stuff, but none of the other foods were as appetizing as the ice cream.

So I dished in $3.15 for three ice cream cones. I know what you're thinking, you'd be going like, hey you can't finish off THREE cones by yourself! And you're right, I didn't, I bought one for my mother and one for my best friend who was at IKEA too.

And I have to say, that this stuff tastes awesome. Like amazing, amazing. It makes me want to get my own soft serve ice cream machine to place in my home. It made me want to jump over the counter and eat the ice cream straight from the machine. It made me want to go on a unicorn and fly to My Little Pony world or something.

It was soft, and not overly sweet. enough said. It's just fantastic.

So instead of just sitting on your desk chair or whatever, drooling over the images I've attached and reading this article. Go. Go to IKEA right now, and get some of that frozen yogurt. See for yourself. :D

Thanks for reading this, you're awesome. :D

BEST POST ON A CANDLE. EVER.

So hey everyone! I promised that this would be an awesome post on an awesome candle, so here it goes! ;P

Okay, so I'm going to be talking about a Yankee Candle today, because I purchased one. :D I have heard and read numerous beaming reviews about this brand of candles, and was completely mesmerized by them. I live smelling good stuff, from clean sheets to apple pie, to pine trees and stuff like that. So I was absolutely thrilled to find out that it was possible for my home to smell like that, for as long as I lit the Yankee candle. Like honestly, how awesome would it be to have your house smelling like freshly baked apple pie, ALL THE TIME?!

went to a department store called Winners today to hunt for the candles. :3 they sell them for a cheaper price compared to the retailers, which is amazing, but the variety is definitely much smaller. But the reason for my decision on dropping by a winners store is because there was one fairly close to my home-while bed bath and beyond,a Yankee candle retailer, is way too far away.

Went I arrived there were a few brands at the candle sections, such as the colonial candle, Yankee candle, etc. there were some really bad smelling ones, and of course some pretty good smelling ones too XD there were only 7 different Yankee candles, and only 2 of them were to my favour. The two were the key lime pie, and mist scented candle. My mother preferred the mist candle and so I
purchased that one.

The scent is actually very much like a pine forest with the scent of sappy acorns and probably a hint of lime as well. It has a very crisp and unique scent. I both there two wick candle, but I usually only light one, because it is very difficult to lit another once one has been lit (you can burn yourself).

The label is very elegant, I really loved the forest green colour for the background and the beautiful picture of the scenery on the sticker, it gave off a mysterious vibe. Also, the color of the candle was sort of a lighter olive green, which was quite pretty, in my opinion. The color has matched my furniture, and it would probably go along with anyone's regardless of the style or color.

Next, the scent lasts for a long time and even lingers around long after the candle has been put out. As a result,  it really helps cover up the other scents of the room and fills it with a foresty scent instead. So drop that air-freshener, and place a Yankee candle in its place instead! :D I often don't like air freshener a because they constantly need to be re-sprayed, they run out quickly, and are full of chemicals.

So overall, I really enjoyed the candle and I am definitely going to buy another Yankee candle some time soon. :) the scents are so true and they are quite aromatic as well. It's like heaven in a jar.

Thanks for reading! :P

MOTHERS DAY CAKE FAIL XD

Alright, so Mother's Day is tomorrow, and my mother's birthday was yesterday. Yippee! :D

And so, I decided to do something special other than painting a tea box I got from a craft store, and decking out in the kitchen, stuffing my mouth with sushi, both of which I did yesterday. XD

I decided that I was gonna bake a cake today, a sponge cake, that is.

I rummaged through numerous sites and videos of all sorts until I stumbled upon a recipe for an EASY sponge cake.

I thought to myself, all right how hard can this possibly be? And I was wrong. It was really challenging. It looked easy to make in the video, but when I actually get hand on with this project, things just, uh, backfired.

So I started by cracking six eggs, which was no problem, and then I got out my hand mixer and started beating away. The people in the video hd those fancy ginormous stand mixers, which I am planning to purchase later, and I had a hand mixer. Let's talk about contrast. I had to hold onto the hand mixer and move it around the bowl for a friggin 15 minutes to get the volume needed.

And my ginormous mixing bowl was not large enough to hold in the massive blob / cloud of cake mixture so it started overflowing a little.

Then I had the crazy idea of adding matcha, which is green tea powder to my batter. And so I added a good ol' 2 teaspoons. I also added 1 cup of sugar, according to the recipe.

But I thought to myself about how bitter the matcha can be, and decided to add another half a cup of sugar.

And I kept on mixing, stuff kept on overflowing, and eventually, I looked as if some sort of an alien slime had barfed all over my kitchen. But I told myself that it's alright, cuz the cake is gonna taste good.

Later, I folded in the flour and finally, my green blob( aka. Cake batter) was ready to bake.

I desperately searched my cupboards for a cake pan, only remembering that I didn't have one anymore. Darn it. Then spontaneous ideas of using bowls and frying pans to be used as a cake pan had come to my mind. But nope, I ain't doing anything stupid like that, and so I used the cupcake pan instead.

It's determined, I'm making cupcakes.

Then I got my box of cupcake liners and started to line my cupcake pan, having EXACTLY enough for one batch.

I soon scooped the batter into the pan and a lot of the batter ended up on the counters and the rims of the cupcake pan itself.

Well, wiping the batter off, I kind of came to a conclusion that I am not gonna be a baker when I grow up.

After, I preheated my oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, not remembering that my mother has a tendency to place the pots and pans in the oven when not in use. So basically, out oven is like a ginormous cabinet.

I suddenly realized that my pans were inside and turned off the oven, quickly removing the cooking tools from the oven. Luckily, nothing was burnt or melted off, I think. And then I placed my cupcakes into the oven.

I set the timer and started baking.

Once they were starting to burn, I smelled the sugary Creme brûlée scent, knowing that I was screwed.

Luckily, they were golden brown. But they were supposed to be greenish, due to the matcha I added. Oh well. They looked deflated, like a soufflé gone wrong. XD and they kinda smelled eggy too.

The top turned out to be a sugary crusty layer of sugary stuff, biscuit like texture. And the inside was a super fluffy green cake.

The cupcake was too fragile and couldn't be removed from the liners and it was kind of challenging to eat, I had to literally get my self a spoon and scoop the cake out. XD

Overall, I actually had a pretty good experience baking the cakes, despite all the trouble that I had gone to. XD

My mother was pretty happy that I baked cupcakes for her, but she doesn't dare to try one XD

Oh well, to all the mothers out there, HAPPY MOTHERS DAY! Have a good one!

BEST MILK CANDY IN THE WORLD >:O

Ermehgerd. This stuff is amazing, it's almost as good as roe. Roe. Can you believe that there is a food that can be a close competition to roe? I cannot believe it either, but it's true.

This is the Tokuno 8.2 milk candy I'm talking about. It's legendary stuff, go Google it and your computer screen will be filled with glowing reviews and trustworthy sellers. Go get yourself some of this candy, because it is just amazing, and you deserve to eat amazing stuff. Yes you do. So once you finished reading this article, go scramble around to fins some of this candy, search under your mattress, raid the candy stores, go garbage can hunting, do whatever it takes to get it, alright? (okay, not literally)

Now there is actually a small variety of milk candy flavors you can choose from. So starting form the top of the attached picture, there would be the green tea/matcha milk candy, then the original flavored milk candy, then the strawberry milk candy (this tastes like real strawberries, none of the artificial tasting stuff, real fresh strawberries, mind you), and then at the bottom, we'd have the coffee flavored milk candy, which is perfect for all of those who like their starbucks coffee super milky, aka.10 creams, 4 sugars XD Ahahaha. See what I did there?

Words cannot sum up on how amazing this stuff tastes, and there are actually a few more flavors, but I'm not gonna type it all down today :D It's very rich and milky, it is to die for. :D so have yourself a taste, will ya?

Thanks for reading! :D

LUCY HEARTFILA DIGITAL ART :D

Alright, so I actually did some digital art like a couple of weeks back and this piece was one of my most cherished pieces. I'm super proud of it. ;P It was inspired by some lineart on deviantart, And I just thought that I had to draw something like that and make it super duper colorful and stuff XD And so I did. I spent my entire day on it, and I kept on messing up with the layers DX There were like, a billion layers, and I kept on messing up. I learnt that the undo button can only be used a certain number of times. Oh well, I was super duper happy with the end result, and yup, here it goes, XD.

WORLD'S BEST FARMERS MARKET. :D

Okay, I'm not kidding, the St. Lawrence Farmers Market has got to be the best, most, mega-amazing market in the world.

They have the freshest produce, such as fruits, veggies, and all that good stuff up for you to purchase. Like, you can literally smell the freshness once you walk in. It's amazing. It's almost as if the fruits and veggies are beaming and glowing with light, like they were sent from heaven or something. :D

Also, their peaches are super sweet, like, I'll bet you that you have never ever in your life tasted a peach sweeter than the ones down at the market. Also, their oranges are to die for and same goes for their apples. :D they have a huge variety. It's incredible. Drop. Dead. Incredible.

Next, if you are going to the market, be sure to buy some fruit preserves, because they are like heaven in a jar. It tastes homemade, and I don't mean the yucky stuff you grandma or mother cooks up when I mean homemade. I mean that it seems like a celebrity chef who may happen to be your grandma has magically brought back her secret recipes to life or something. I know that not everyone's grandma is an amazing cook, but for now, let's put it that way, alright? ;P Spread the sweet stuff on your breads and cakes and biscuits etc. and you're good to go. Literally.

Also, be sure to try out some honey, they might even have samples up on little tables right now. :D What I love about their honey is that it's pure and natural, meaning that it tastes awesome and is beneficial for your health. They have some organic honey too, if you want to check that out. Again, there is a huge variety on the types of honey you can purchase. Believe me, they do taste different.

On the other hand, pastries and cakes are also sold at this amazing place. So bring your kids, grandkids, brothers, sister, friends along, and you cant go wrong. The delectable treats are sure to please everyone, even those with the pickiest palettes are sure to be satisfied. I am a huge fan of their tarts. The pastry is very light and the custard filling is very creamy with the perfect dash of liquor. I heard that apple pies are also sold, can't wait to try those out :D

I can type on and on until tomorrow comes around, but I'm going to stop her because my fingers are getting tired. So have you been to this market? What's your favorite market? Alright, so leave a comment, or +1 this article or whatever. Anyways. I hope that you've enjoyed this article!

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!!!

So for all the mothers out there, HAPPY EARLY MOTHERS DAY! You guys do a great job on raising your kids, keep it up! :D

And so, I celebrated mothers day in advance today, since it is my mother's birthday as well. :D We had sushi and that's pretty much it XD I also painted a small wooden box for her to put her teabags in, but I doubt that she'd use it.

So how are you guys celebrating Mother's Day?

I think that I might bake a cake or something tomorrow. :3

I never ever baked a successful sponge cake before XD Mine always turn out to be so dense. D:

Anyways, Happy Mothers Day! :D

FAIRY TAIL CHAPTER 330

HEY GUYS. ;D

I'm a mega-otaku, so I just had to post on my thoughts on the release of the most current Fairy Tail chapter. I had to.

So before we start, I just want to ask something, why are the release dates so messed up? Like I think that one week's chapter was skipped and the next came out on Tuesday, and this week, it came out on Friday. What is going on?! XD

Okay, so let's talk about this chapter. :D I noticed that on the cover of chapter 329, Laxus got a haircut, but in 330, it seemed that his hair didn't change at all. And on a more important note, what the heck were those mini dragons that just hatched?! D: Are they real dragons? Or are they artificial? What magical abilities do they possess? So they just bite? Will they grow? Gahh so many questions. XD

Anyways, I'm really concerned about that, because I have a feeling the mangaka, Hiro Mashima, will really expand on the idea and possibly add some ginormous plot involving the mini dragons. I just ought to believe that the dragons won't be eliminated that quickly. Maybe it will take another four volumes. D: And this arc may continue for like, 10 volumes? I don't know. And maybe Lucy from the present will time-travel AGAIN. ahahaha.

Next, when is Acnologia appearing?! I wanna see Igneel too :D I hope that he appears somewhere in this arc. :P I don't want to wait any longer. :3 Also, I have a feeling that Zeref is gonna show up to either fix things or destroy things somewhere along the road of this Eclipse arc as well. It's gonna be crazy, and I'm looking forward to the climax of the arc. I hope that Zeref and Natau reunite or something, because, I wanna see sparks between the two. XD

And on the other hand, are the dragonslayers capable of battling and defeating the dragons? Well, when I think about it, I have a feeling that Cobra can, since he can read minds, and has the power of a poisonous snakes and stuff, and he's not injured either. Also, Gajeel and Laxus may as well be able to take on dragons themselves too. But I'm not sure if Wendy has the ability to, maybe Chelia would come and help or something too. Also, Sting and Rogue may have the ability to, but judging from the future Rogue, something may happen between he two best friends, and I dunno. XD Natsu is one of the main characters, so Hiro must add some spunk to his character and make him go through another series of drastic events maybe? Like meeting up with Zeref or something. Natsu is definitely gonna travel down the storyline the mainstream way. Wait, Gajeel may get killed because of Carla's vision of Levy writing the letter, hmmmm.

This was an interesting chapter for me, the hatching of the new dragons have definitely come to my attention. It's quite ingenious. I thought that there would be some third gate or something for them to come through. But Zirconis kind of is a let down, I hope that he hits some comeback later on in the story. Thanks for reading this post! You're awesome!
